The Ankeny Community School District has an Empowerment Preschool Program serving children in Ankeny.  This quality preschool program meets the social, emotional, cognitive, language, and development needs of young children. 

The program concentrates on getting children ready for school through activities, experiences, songs, and literature.

 

Qualifications

To qualify for the program, children must be 3 ½ or 4 years old by September 15th of the upcoming school year, and meet an income qualification (same qualifications as the free or reduced lunch program.). The program is free to families that qualify.
